Individual membership is open to active researchers, early career scientists, students, and retired scientists, as well as hobbyist astronomers, industry partners, social service providers, and educators.

The benefits of individual membership include:

• Opportunities to play an active role in shaping the future of planetary science in Europe through election or presentation of positions and committee positions in the European Society.
• Reduced fees for EuroPlanet events, including the annual European Planetary Science Congress (EPSC).
• Participation in events with political and funded decision makers and opportunity to work on policy documents, strategy and consultations.
• Support from the Regional Centers in the development of local networks for planetary science.
• Access to the European Network of Young Researchers (EPEC).
• Access to the newsletters of the European Society and the Members area with strategic information relevant to planetary science, including guides and compendia for funding calls.

For its part, corporate membership is open to any institution, organization or association involved in planetary science and related fields.
