IPGP , a strong center for geosciences, wants to develop an exoplanet activity, with several teams  potentially interested,  already working on magma ocean physics, magma/atmosphere interactions, escape, differentiation,2nd  atmosphere formation, EOS and link with observations like JWST or forthcoming ARIEL or ELT instruments.

The  "Maitre de Conférence Position" (equivalent to Associate Professor) that is a mixed research/teaching position, is focused on "exoplanets" at the interface between rocky exoplanets interior and surface processes.  with keywords : rocky-exoplanets, interior-surface interactions, detections, geology and surface processes.

This position  will be open to recruitment in March 2024 at "Université Paris Cité" and will be affected to IPGP for an excellent candidate. The applicant needs to be able to teach in French. (=fluent French)
